ACTS are Electrical and Mechanical Engineers with an array of blue chip clients including Glasgow Harbour, Aviva, Rolls Royce, GEC, Aegon and Standard Life. Based in Glasgow and Manchester their work encompasses a full array of professional services and over 90% of their business is repeat.
An important new business development in construction, the capacity to predict energy usage and with it the likelihood of a building winning an all important energy certificate formed the impetus to refresh the website. While this service did not eclipse all others it heralds a new era in ‘Mech and E’ design, putting the design of energy at the start of the design phase, rather than at its close. ACT wanted to flag up a new stage in company with this design leadership.
We created a fully editable but elegant site with a focus on brevity and strong visuals, many of which were taken inhouse – showing an impressive level of photographic flair. The site displays ACTS strong client list and skills within direct communication style that matches the culture of the company.
